Job Title: Personal Care Aide (PCA)
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role involves working closely with individuals, including those with disabilities, to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being in both home care and assisted living environments.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health status through patient observation.
- Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support clients in engaging in daily activities and social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
Skills
- Proven experience in caregiving, particularly in home care or assisted living settings.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and varying needs.
- Strong observational skills for monitoring patient health and behavior.
- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients.
- A nurturing attitude combined with patience and empathy towards clients.
